Nutritional Guides

Quick, kidney-friendly cereal swaps made for families. This simple guide helps you compare options and choose better breakfasts with confidence. Enter your email and we'll send the PDF straight to your inbox.

Why We Started With Cereal

Breakfast is often the first meal parents worry about after a CAKUT diagnosis, and cereal aisles are confusing even without kidney concerns to navigate. This guide came out of a simple, recurring question we heard from families: "Which brands are actually okay for my child?" Rather than a generic nutrition list, we compared real, common cereal brands side by side, flagging phosphate additives and sodium levels so parents can make swaps without needing a nutrition degree to do it.

This is the first in what we hope becomes a full library of practical, everyday nutrition guidance, built the same way, starting from the real questions families ask us, not generic dietary advice.

What We're Building Next

We're developing guidance for lunch and dinner using the same approach, comparing real, everyday food choices so families can make confident decisions without feeling overwhelmed. Have a specific question or food category you'd like us to tackle first? Let us know below.
