What working with us involves
Congenital kidney conditions are rare enough that the people who treat them are scattered, and the families living with them are harder to reach than they should be. Most of what we do is closing that distance.
What we ask
Clinicians who work with us help make sure our materials are accurate before families rely on them, and help us understand where the real gaps in care sit. That can be as light as reading a draft explainer and telling us what we have got wrong, or as involved as shaping what we take to regulators. Both are useful. Neither requires a standing commitment.
What you get back
A direct line to a patient community that is organised and reachable — which matters when you are trying to recruit for a study, understand how families are actually managing at home, or find collaborators working on the same conditions. Our medical advisory committee and our research collaborations both grew out of clinicians who started by simply getting in touch.
Where this is heading
In April 2026 we convened a two-day summit at the FDA campus bringing researchers, clinicians and regulators together around congenital kidney disease. That is the direction of travel: getting the people who can move therapies forward into the same conversation, with families represented in it rather than described from a distance.

You are also welcome to point families at our Resource Library without any involvement on your part. It is written for parents rather than for clinicians, it is free, and there is nothing to sign up for.
